Selene Platt

I've sung in choral groups most of my life since high school, including Choral Arts Society of Philadelphia. In grade school, I sang with the boys because my voice was lower and the teacher told me to sing with the girls. I guess I've always been a feminist!

Dancing is my passion - especially salsa, rueda, and swing. Singing is a close second. I studied classical piano while growing up, and picked up hand drums more recently. I play both in my synagogue's Klezmer band.

I live with my boyfriend and three cats in Wynnewood, and work as an IT Analyst for Penn Medicine. My son and his husband live in East Falls, and my daughter recently became a lawyer and lives in Boston, each with their own cats.
