Jesse J. Shutt
Bass
Pottstown
Aside from my nearly 40 years working in and around Quality Assurance and Risk Management in the Nuclear Power Industry (accounting for my “glowing” personality) I’ve attended West Chester, Drexel, and Penn State Universities and have a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from PSU.
I have two adult children, a son currently living near Atlanta, GA, and a married daughter living in Rutherford, NJ who is mom to two children (my grandchildren).
I’ve been singing for over 55 years in a variety of groups and settings starting with the Philadelphia Boys Choir as a High Soprano in 1969 (the year it all began), traveling around the world. After my voice changed, I was in various school and Church choirs as a Tenor evolving into a Bass/Baritone and ultimately began additional singing adventures with community choirs (in 1990’s?) starting with Pottstown’s Coventry Singers (still singing with them), and in 2013 began singing with the Media Chamber Chorale. Additionally, I sang for a few years (prior to the 2020 Pandemic), with the Celestia Singers and Ambler Station Singers where I also served as a board member at large.
