Membership Guidelines 2005-2006

Membership Dues

Membership dues for the fiscal year 2005-2006 are $60.00 per semester or a reduced rate of $110.00 for a full year when paid in advance. Family rates are $55 per family member per semester, and $100.00 per family member for the year (paid in advance). At the Board's discretion, special consideration on the payment of dues may be given in cases of hardship.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held at 8:00 PM on Wednesday evenings at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County, 145 West Rose Tree Road, Media. Please arrive promptly, warmed up and ready to sing.

You are expected to make all rehearsals. At the beginning of and mid-way through the performance year, you will be asked to submit known dates when you will not be able to attend rehearsal. Attendance at Dress Rehearsals is mandatory. In the event of a last minute emergency, etc. preventing you from attending rehearsal, please contact: Erika Kors (erika_kors@yahoo.com).

You will be notified by e-mail and phone chain when a rehearsal needs to be canceled.

You are responsible for having all current music once it has been handed out. If you are missing music, contact the Music Librarian (to be named). Bring all current music to every rehearsal.

All music is the property of Media Chamber Chorale, and you must turn it in at the end of the concert. Please keep it in good condition, and use only pencil to make personal notations. You may wish to make a photocopy of the music in order to make more extensive notations.

Please plan to stay a few moments after rehearsal to help put away chairs and clean up the room.
